- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Overzealous small town cops looking to make money on tourists. Shameful. There is always someone pulled over, day and night. Take your tourist dollars elsewhere, this place is not worth the hassle.By E Wood, September 07, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Drove through this town once in the middle of the night. I got a ticket for a right turn on red. Yes there was a sign...hidden behind branches in the dark. No point in driving back there to fight this in court....it would have cost me more in gas. I'm sure the local cops know about it and wait for tourists to drive by. They could at least give a friendly warning. Nice way to welcome tourists to town and thank them for helping the local economy by going to the ski resort or nearby casino. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Watch the speed limits especially in downtown after dark. I got a speeding ticket by a little baby cop named Cori. Cop lied about engaging my car in a high speed chase and where he was actually located when he used his radar. They thought I was easy prey b/c I'm from out of state. After prosecutor saw body cam footage case was dismissed. I wrote a complaint against Cori. And tell that little 22 year old cop to please address any male over the age of 30 as "Sir" Cop's like to sit at the site of the old demolished factory...
